What is it about

Go LOCAL, GO GLOBAL AND GO CONNECTED

By doing physical and biological experiments, we will learn how the forest is feeling, and how the forest is connected to the atmosphere above.

In GO LOCAL, we will learn about the air surrounding us with a series of physical experiments. We will also learn how the leaves consume carbon dioxide and transpire water. And we will learn how to look at measurements of wind, temperature, humidity and pressure, taken at local stations in the forest.

In GO GLOBAL, we will see things as astronauts do. We will look at the earth from space. From this great distance we will be able to see how the entire rainforest is feeling. We will see if the temperature is high or low, and if there is a lot of rain or no rain at all. But also, we will be able to compare the rainforest with the rest of the world. Like astronauts, we can see everything in one image.

In GO CONNECTED, we will play a game that teaches us how the LOCAL and GLOBAL are connected. On one side, we have the rainforest, the oceans, fires and factories, and on the other side, we have the atmosphere.
